Griff Horrocks discovered that today at Earl Campbell Stadium, as he smashed three home runs during the 13-11 Long Island Ducks win over the DeKalb Cornhuskers. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Long Island right fielder said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Horrocks finished the day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats and 7 RBIs. Griff Horrocks grounded out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Morihiro Hashimoto in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Felipe Medellín in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off John Patterson in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
