Week's Top Player: Spokane's Boone Monday, August 25th, 2031 So far in his young career, Moo-hyun Boone has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Bob Moose League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Spokane Bulldogs catcher hit at a torrid .444 clip as he collected 8 hits in 18 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Boone is hitting .324 for the season with 14 home runs, 69 RBIs and 71 runs scored. He has 148 hits in 457 at-bats and played in 114 games. |
