Star of the Week Selected in ACL Monday, August 25th, 2031 25-year-old Senichi Nii made a few Phoenix headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Cory Lidle League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 22 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Nii collected 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 10 runs. In this current campaign Nii is hitting at a .362 clip with 5 home runs and 29 RBIs. |
