Injury Sidelines Naoki Okada for Season Wednesday, July 23rd, 2031 The season is apparently over for Naoki Okada. The Long Island Ducks medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 4-5 months with a torn labrum. Okada was hurt in the game against DeKalb while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. In season stats Okada shows a 7-6 record in 19 games, 88 innings, 96 strikeouts and a 4.60 ERA. |
