FFL's #1 Player Named Monday, July 21st, 2031 22-year-old Will Southern made a few Sandy Springs headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Bob Moose League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 4 hits in 10 at-bats to put up a .400 average. Southern collected 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and scored 4 runs. So far this season, Southern has recorded a .216 batting average with 16 hits, 7 home runs, 21 RBIs, 16 runs scored and a .422 OBP. |
