ACL's Top Player Named Monday, July 21st, 2031 So far in his young career, Bill Petipas has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Cory Lidle League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Jacksonville Hellcats first baseman hit at a torrid .571 clip as he collected 4 hits in 7 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 2 runs scored. This season Petipas is batting .272 with 13 home runs. His totals include 33 RBIs and 29 runs scored. |
