Ramos 5-for-5 Against Hellcats
Tuesday, July 8th, 2031
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Boise's 10-5 win over Jacksonville today, center fielder Armando Ramos was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Hellcats Park.
"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Ramos said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."
Armando Ramos singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Shoichi Ikeda in the 4th, singled in the 6th, was hit by a pitch in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
Thus far this season in 85 games Ramos is batting .251 with 10 home runs, 43 RBIs and 62 runs scored. He has 89 hits in 354 at-bats.
