Week's Best Player Honored by FFL Monday, June 30th, 2031 So far in his young career, Mike Conard has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Bob Moose League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old Madison Beehive first baseman hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 12 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year Conard has socked 84 hits in 307 at-bats for a .274 average with 8 home runs. He is getting on base at a .329 pace and his totals also include 39 RBIs and 44 runs scored. |
