Season Ends for Dan Northeast of Pacifica
Thursday, June 26th, 2031
When Dan Northeast was hurt against the Jacksonville Hellcats, the Pacifica Shamrocks were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe that first thought. The 23-year-old reliever suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Northeast would miss 9 months of the season.
Taking a look at his season stats for 2031, Northeast has made 13 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 1-0 won-lost mark with a 2.77 ERA. In pitching 26 innings, he has totaled 26 strikeouts and 12 walks.
