Kuramoto Gone for Season in Silicon Valley
Wednesday, June 11th, 2031
The doctors have spoken and Ryozo Kuramoto of the Silicon Valley Hackers didn't like what he heard. The 21-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Kuramoto sustained his season-ending injury during the Temple Goers game yesterday at San Jose Municipal Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Silicon Valley medical staff reported Kuramoto had a damaged elbow ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 10 months.
So far this season Kuramoto has worked 32.1 innings in 22 relief appearances with 0 saves. He has dished out 27 strikeouts and walked 20 with a 0-1 mark and a 3.62 ERA.
