Long Island No Match for Lew Sunday, June 8th, 2031 Long Island dropped a 1-0 shutout to Gang-sheng Lew and the Spokane Bulldogs at Long Island Stadium today. The Ducks offered little resistance to Lew, who stopped them on 1 hit, fanned 4 and walked 4. "It just felt right today," the right-handed Lew told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm." This season Lew has accumulated no saves, registered a 4.20 ERA and struck out 83 in 70.2 innings.
