Newark Starting Pitcher Out
Wednesday, June 4th, 2031
When Mario Robles was hurt against the Phoenix Lights, the Newark Jail Birds were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe that first thought. The 26-year-old starting pitcher suffered shoulder inflammation throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Robles would miss 4 months of the season.

Robles has made 12 starts so far this year and put up a 2-5 won-lost record with a 5.97 ERA. In 57.1 innings he has allowed 64 hits, walked 42 and struck out 59.
