Banditos Nakamura Lost for Year
Thursday, October 7th, 2032
Doctors in Acapulco said Nobukazu Nakamura might not play anymore this year. The Banditos starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow during a game against the Silver Lake Baristas and will be out for at least 12-13 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.
So far this year Nakamura has made 13 starts, tossed 99.2 innings, struck out 89 batters and walked 60. His record is 5-8 with a 4.70 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .296 batting average.
