Albuquerque Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Thursday, October 7th, 2032 It's a "gut-wrenching feeling," Albuquerque Cacti closer Hisataro Sato said, for the team to have gotten so close to a playoff berth, only to be eliminated in the waning days of the season. The club was officially eliminated from the postseason chase today. The Cacti have missed the playoffs 15 times in their 20 years as a TRIPLE A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2030. In the last 10 seasons, the Cacti have missed the playoffs 5 times. |
