Fireballs Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 15th, 2032 There will certainly be no championship parade for the Joplin Fireballs this season. They were already on the outside looking in for the playoff chase, but the club was officially eliminated from contention today. This is the club's 3rd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2029. In the last 10 seasons, the Fireballs have missed the playoffs 9 times. In total, the Fireballs have missed the playoffs 18 times in their 20-year history. |
