Hiller Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Sunday, August 22nd, 2032 Fletch Hiller extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games today in the Antioch 3-0 triumph over the Astoria Argonauts. The 20-year-old Coal Miners center fielder collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. "Of course it's going to end," he said. "I'm just enjoying it until then." Fletch Hiller flied out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. This year Hiller is hitting .286, produced 38 RBIs and 13 home runs, scored 37 times and gotten on base at a .333 rate. |
