Ross Bullmore, second baseman for the Philadelphia Freedom, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 3 hits in his club's 7-3 victory today over the Astoria Argonauts at The Bell today.
"Not the outcome we wanted," Astoria manager Tony Allison said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Ross Bullmore was hit by a pitch in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
This year Bullmore is hitting .360 with 5 home runs and 31 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .447 clip and scored 43 runs.
