Bumblebees Chill Wang's Hot Streak
Thursday, August 5th, 2032
It was a doubly miserable day today for Way-ming Wang of the Billings Mustangs, as he saw his 26-game hitting streak end and his team lose 6-4 to the Pasadena Bumblebees at Cobb Field. The 29-year-old first baseman was held hitless in 4 at-bats by the Bumblebees.

"Anyone on a 26-game hitting streak is going to be a tough out," Pasadena manager Ramón Rosário said later. "But we had a plan and we were careful about it, and got it done."

Wang is hitting .319 this year with 33 home runs, 95 RBIs and 70 runs scored. He has 141 hits in 442 at-bats, 41 walks and a .371 on-base percentage. Wang has played in 110 games.
