Vancouver Starter Named NAL's Premier Pitcher Sunday, August 1st, 2032 Over the past month Yoshiaki Kojima has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Nick Adenhart League. He proved all that and now he's been named July's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Vancouver Canadians posted 4-0 mark and a 2.34 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 34.2 innings, permitted 18 hits and fanned 29 batters. This year Kojima has a 6-2 mark in 12 starts with a 2.10 ERA. He has given up 51 hits in 81.1 innings, struck out 77 and issued 25 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .176 batting average against him. |
