Ruckus Reaps 4-Game Suspensions Monday, July 5th, 2032 Fairfield and Bowling Green were informed today by the league's commissioner that two of their players have been given 4-game suspensions, citing their "inappropriate actions" in the recent altercation in a game played at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. For their parts in the bench-clearing episode, the Flash Jorge Ramírez and the Racers Ah-cy Jian will be sitting on the sidelines and will not be permitted to participate in games until the suspensions are served. Ramírez is hitting at a .291 mark this season. His stats show 8 home runs, 36 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has played 49 games for the Flash. This year Jian has earned 1 save, worked 19.1 innings, fanned 15 hitters and recorded a 6.05 ERA. He has also put up a 1-0 won-lost mark. |
