DKL Announces Outstanding Batter Award Tuesday, June 1st, 2032 Roger Barrett is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Peoria right fielder joined that select company when the Darryl Kile League announced the results of May's voting. Barrett totaled 47 hits, 10 walks, 3 home runs, 22 RBIs and 19 runs scored last month to put together a .452 batting average and .496 on-base percentage. This season Barrett is swinging the bat at a .379 rate with 72 hits in 190 at-bats. To date he has hit 3 home runs, scored 33 runs and driven in 33. |
