Barrett Gets 5 Hits Sunday, May 30th, 2032 There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget. Roger Barrett of the Peoria Caterpillars had one such moment at Cobb Field today, when he went 5 for 6 at the plate. His hitting heroics weren't enough to pull out the victory, however, and Peoria fell to a 14-10 defeat to the Billings Mustangs. "This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time," the 20-year-old right fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "It would have been very special if we had won the game." Roger Barrett doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
