Baristas Chill Patterjee's Hot Streak Sunday, May 30th, 2032 Kadambi Patterjee, catcher for the Scranton Escape, gave it a good try, but his time chasing history came to an end when he went hitless in 5 tries against the Silver Lake Baristas today. Not only did the Baristas break his 20-game hitting streak, they also beat Scranton by the score of 10-2. "Now that the streak has ended, I can admit I'll breathe a bit easier the next time I step up to bat," Patterjee said, speaking with the media after the game. "It was tough because I put a little pressure on myself. Now that it's over, I will definitely be a little bit looser at the plate." This year Patterjee is batting .341 with 9 home runs and 29 RBIs. |
