Silver Lake Loses Jason Hammond for Season Friday, May 14th, 2032 Silver Lake Baristas reliever Jason Hammond left yesterday's game against the Acapulco Banditos after suffering a stretched elbow ligament throwing a pitch. Hammond was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Hammond is expected to miss 8-9 months. To this point in the season, Hammond has put up these figures: 1-1 record, 9 relief appearances with 24.2 innings, 1 save, 13 strikeouts, 16 walks and a 2.19 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .247 batting average. |
