Boone Goes Yard 3 Times Tuesday, May 4th, 2032 The old superstition that "bad news comes in threes" certainly came true for the Astoria Argonauts today. Billings catcher Moo-hyun Boone tripled up on the home runs to propel the Mustangs to the 11-10 win at Golden Fleece Park. "We had our chances to win the game, but we just didn't come through," Astoria manager Tony Allison said. "Boone hit the heck out of the ball." In addition to the homers, Boone collected 4 hits in 4 at-bats, 3 RBIs and scored 4 runs. "Easy swings get you home runs," he said after the game. "I kept telling myself not to press. They have to be nice and easy swings." Moo-hyun Boone hit a solo-shot off Ryunosuke Chikafuji in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Ryunosuke Chikafuji in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Harmon Anstey in the 7th and walked in the 9th. On the year Boone has hit .358 with 7 home runs, 21 RBIs and scored 18 runs. |
