Adam Anderson Hurt, Out 9 Months
Sunday, April 25th, 2032
Adam Anderson at first refused to leave today's Astoria-Omaha game after he suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Omaha reliever said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Anderson out of action for 9 months.

This season Anderson has made 14 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 1-1 won-lost mark and a 7.04 ERA. In pitching 15.1 innings, he has totaled 16 strikeouts and 3 walks.
