Bungay Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Wednesday, April 7th, 2032 Jim Bungay of the Minneapolis Freeze has now hit safely in 20 straight games. He socked 1 hit in today's 5-4 triumph over Detroit at The Ice Box. "20 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Bungay said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Jim Bungay flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. For the year Bungay is batting .393 with no home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. |
