Thursday, November 6th, 2031
He may have less experience than most of his TRIPLE A peers, but that didn't slow Gerard Vivian down at all in 2031.
At the age of 23, the Antioch catcher has been named the winner of the Darryl Kile League Most Valuable Player Award.
He had a .340 batting average and a .507 on-base percentage this year. In 127 games he piled up 149 hits, 32 doubles, 1 triple, 19 home runs, 102 RBIs and 125 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
Raúl Fernández of the Detroit Death Stars finished second in voting, while Myoung-chul An of the Detroit Death Stars finished third.
