At the age of 23, the Antioch catcher has been named the winner of the Darryl Kile League Most Valuable Player Award. He had a .340 batting average and a .507 on-base percentage this year. In 127 games he piled up 149 hits, 32 doubles, 1 triple, 19 home runs, 102 RBIs and 125 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said.
