Wednesday, November 5th, 2031
He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Matsuyo Koda performed like a veteran on the hill for the Antioch Coal Miners and walked away with the Darryl Kile League Cy Young Award in the process.
The 24-year-old Coal Miners star fashioned a 16-5 won-loss record in 2031 with a 3.59 ERA. In 225.1 innings of work and 35 starts, Koda struck out 173 while giving up 199 hits and 69 walks. He held opposing batters to a .236 average.
Dongdo-pa Chen of the Detroit Death Stars finished second in voting, while Ryan Goldberg of the Omaha Raptors finished third.
