Rodríguez Smacks 5 Hits for Mustangs Friday, October 3rd, 2031 Billings Mustangs first baseman Jorge Rodríguez banged out 5 hits today, but it was not enough to keep his club from succumbing to the Philadelphia Freedom, 8-4. He went 5-for-5 and raised his batting average a few points. "If the hits keep coming," an upbeat Rodríguez said after the game, "the runs will too. And, more importantly, so will the wins." Jorge Rodríguez singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
