Big Day with Bat: Roberge 5-for-7 Wednesday, September 24th, 2031 No matter what the Scranton Escape threw at him today, Griffin Roberge hit it. He easily handled Escape pitching, going 5 for 7 and helping the Racers to a 20-4 triumph at Hell Stadium. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Roberge's quip, Escape skipper Julián Cancil said he "would take him up on that next time." Griffin Roberge doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Mei-shan Chin in the 5th, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
