Huguet Hits in 20 Straight Games Tuesday, September 23rd, 2031 Albuquerque could care less about David Huguet's hitting streak. All they care about is who won the game. The Cacti manager told BNN, "Not to belittle his streak, but at the end of the day, the important thing is winning the game, not stopping a hitting streak." Well, the Cacti didn't stop David Huguet today, but they won the game 2-1 over the Cats. The Fort Worth shortstop was 1-for-3 in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. David Huguet flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and singled in the 8th. This year Huguet has socked 102 hits in 325 at-bats for a .314 average with 10 home runs. He is getting on base at a .360 pace and his totals also include 38 RBIs and 48 runs scored. |
