Antioch Cruises to Darryl Kile League Cito Gaston League Crown Wednesday, September 10th, 2031 The Antioch Coal Miners are juggernauts of the Darryl Kile League Cito Gaston League and today wrapped up a convincing division win. The club's current 94-41 record has them well ahead of the pack and now can't be caught for the division title. It is the 7th time they have won the title and the team manager John Smiley said it's a "privilege to lead such a talented team into the playoffs." Antioch will be trying to capture their 5th TRIPLE A championship and starting pitcher Matsuyo Koda said he likes the club's chances. "We won the division pretty easily and I think there's a lot of confidence in the clubhouse right now," he said. |
