Aeropostales Starter Wins NAL Pitching Award Monday, September 1st, 2031 In August when the Indian Wells manager wrote the name "Tushar" on the lineup card, he knew he had a good shot at winning. Start after start in the month, Devayukta Tushar took the hill, took charge and usually got the win. He dominated with a 2-0 mark and 2.35 ERA in 0 starts. The gifted Aeropostales star pitched 15.1 innings, fanned 22 and held opposing teams to a .185 average. For his outstanding mound performance Tushar was named the NAL Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. This year Tushar has worked 83.1 innings with 110 strikeouts en route to a 5-4 record and a 3.02 ERA. |
