Bowling Green's Rice Snaps up August Batting Award Monday, September 1st, 2031 Paul Rice put together a good August to earn the Nick Adenhart League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Bowling Green officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Racers first baseman posted a .389 batting average with 8 home runs, 24 RBIs and 20 runs scored. This year Rice has 25 home runs and a .320 batting average. |
