Miyazaki and Morales Suspended 5 Games For Brawl Saturday, August 16th, 2031 Shunen Miyazaki of Coronado and Iván Morales of Vancouver have been sanctioned by the league office for causing the ruckus at Phantoms Field yesterday. Both players have been given 5-game suspensions for instigating the fight and subsequent free-for-all. For the year Miyazaki is batting .283 with 3 home runs, 22 RBIs and 57 runs scored. Morales has made 14 starts, tossed 82.2 innings, struck out 57 batters and walked 37. His record is 2-6 with a 4.90 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .292 batting average. |
