Racers Chill Martínez's Hot Streak Wednesday, August 13th, 2031 Titans shortstop Orlando Martínez was one of the hottest hitters in baseball, coming into today's game against Bowling Green with a 28-game hitting streak. However, the Racers put a chill in his bat, at least for today, and held him hitless in 4 at-bats during the Bowling Green 3-2 triumph at The War Dome. To date Martínez has chalked up a .271 average with 15 home runs, driven in 67 runs and scored 58 times. |
