Hitting Streak Still Alive for Martínez Thursday, August 7th, 2031 Orlando Martínez's bat has been smoking lately as he went 1-for-2 in today's 4-3 triumph over Fort Worth at LaGrave Field. The 29-year-old shortstop for the Chicago Titans has now hit safely in 25 consecutive games. Orlando Martínez singled in the 8th and struck out in the 10th. To date this season Martínez is hitting .272 with 15 home runs. |
