Bad Behavior Costs Cruz and Kichida
Friday, August 1st, 2031
Manuel Cruz of the Peoria Caterpillars and Kazushige Kichida of the Minneapolis Freeze will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended 9 games apiece by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Caterpillars-Freeze game at The Cave at Barton Springs.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Cruz and Kichida will begin serving them soon.

On the year Cruz has hit .173 with no home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 8 runs.

This season Kichida has earned 3 saves, tossed 59.1 innings, made 37 relief appearances, fanned 63 hitters and posted an ERA of 3.94. Teams are hitting .234 against him.
