Cove Chosen July's Best NAL Hurler Friday, August 1st, 2031 Lou Cove has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in July and stole away with the Nick Adenhart League Pitcher of the Month award. The Cacti bullpen ace collected 8 saves and 17 strikeouts in 14 innings, holding the opposition to a .114 average and posting a 0.64 ERA and a 2-0 record. Up to this point in the season, Cove has put up these stats: 35 relief appearances, 16 saves, 39.2 IP, 54 strikeouts and 2.27 ERA.
