Kawaguchi Nabs NAL Weekly Award Monday, June 23rd, 2031 It was announced today by the Nick Adenhart League that Amarillo catcher Kiyonaga Kawaguchi had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. The Amarillo catcher wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers, pounding them for a .524 average (11-for-21) with 4 home runs and 12 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This season Kawaguchi has hit at a .280 clip with 35 RBIs, 10 home runs and 23 runs scored. |
