Kemp Torches Fireballs for 5 Hits Friday, June 13th, 2031 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Nate Kemp today. Kemp went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Joplin pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at House of Pain, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the Reno Raiders had a 4-3 victory over the Fireballs. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Nate Kemp singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Tam Bilh in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. Kemp is hitting .294 this year with 11 home runs, 41 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 64 hits in 218 at-bats, 19 walks and a .356 on-base percentage. Kemp has played in 60 games.
