Mogeni Nabs RCL Most Valuable Player Award

Zane Mogeni of the Hawaii Islanders proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Roberto Clemente League Most Valuable Player Award.
Mogeni hit for a .325 average while collecting 209 hits, 33 doubles, 9 triples, 8 home runs, 67 RBIs and scoring 109 times.
Jong-min Kim Jr. of the So Cal Republic finished second in voting, while Antonio Roman of the Hawaii Islanders finished third.
