Pat Sheffield Out for 8-9 Weeks
Wednesday, November 10th, 2032
A blow for Pat Sheffield today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 8-9 weeks with an oblique strain. Sheffield suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Eureka Hornets are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Sheffield's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature.

In the current season in 32 starts, Pat Sheffield has a record of 17-8 with 189 strikeouts in 246.1 innings and a 3.32 ERA.
