Hornets on to League Pennant
Tuesday, October 26th, 2032
The championship aspirations of the Eureka Hornets are still alive and well, while the Quebec Armada are left to wait until next year.
Eureka won the clinching game of the Divisional Championship 4-1 over Quebec at The Nest, to win the series 4-2.
"You feel like a little kid again, celebrating something like this," said second baseman Ka-fei Bi, who paced the Eureka offense and was named series MVP. "We take everything real seriously when we're on the field, but after a series is over you can finally relax a little bit."
Bi claimed the MVP by racking up 10 hits for a .435 average, with a .480 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, 5 RBI and scored 6 runs.
The Eureka Hornets will play against the South Carolina Bombers in the next round. South Carolina won their series against the Vancouver Pioneers 4 games to 2. The League Pennant schedule will be announced after the Divisional Championship finishes.
