Gerd Zabel of So Cal Injured, DTD Saturday, October 23rd, 2032 It's a long season and everyone picks up some cuts and bruises along the way. The latest star to be suffering this year is Gerd Zabel of the So Cal Republic, who suffered a strained oblique while throwing the ball in yesterday's contest against Dallas. While he could play through the injury, it's unclear whether or not the So Cal organization will risk that or simply sit him out for the 4 weeks the injury is expected to last. This year Zabel has hit at a .284 pace and produced 100 RBIs, 37 home runs and scored 87 runs. |
