Sheffield at His Best, Whips Armada Wednesday, October 20th, 2032 Pat Sheffield of the Eureka Hornets was masterful today, pitching a 7-hit shutout, 5-0, against the Quebec Armada. By going the distance, he was at the same time able to give his bullpen a rest, a fact appreciated by Eureka manager Stephen Jackson. "It's nice to have someone who can do that from time to time," he said. "He had command of every ball and every pitch. Great location, too." Sheffield had 7 strikeouts and 3 walks in the outing.
