Bad News For Colwill and San Diego Sunday, October 3rd, 2032 "It's worse than we thought." That was the news from the Hops clubhouse today as it was learned that left fielder Robbie Colwill will be out for an added 5 days as a result of a recent injury. His treatment for an elbow contusion will have to be extended. Initially it didn't seem the injury was a major concern, but the San Diego left fielder told team trainers of some discomfort yesterday morning, and upon examination it was determined to be a more serious injury. "We'd rather take this thing slowly and make sure Robbie gets back onto the field healthy," said the team's head trainer. Colwill is presently hitting at a .340 pace with 7 home runs and 48 RBIs. He has played in 148 games and scored 104 times. |
