Kubel Heads the Rookie Class Friday, October 1st, 2032 Youngster Andreas Kubel emerged as the latest Thurman Munson League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Maple deserved the honor, batting .320 with 4 home runs and 20 RBI. Is the month of September a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Kubel enjoy the limelight. In 144 games Kubel is hitting .284 this season with 150 hits, 15 home runs, 75 RBIs, 68 walks, .376 OBP and has scored 85 runs. |
