Cabo San Lucas Starter September's Best Pitcher Friday, October 1st, 2032 In September, Joey Steamer tore through the Thurman Munson League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 24 years old. The young Cabo San Lucas starter posted a 5-0 mark and an ERA of 0.95 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 47.1 innings he collected 52 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .182 average. On his stats sheet for the year Steamer shows a 14-14 record, 36 starts, 255 innings, 224 strikeouts and a 3.14 ERA. |
